If you use our consumer offerings (e.g. Free Claude.ai, Claude Pro plan), your prompts and conversations will remain available to you in your dashboard so that you can see your conversation history. You have control to delete your conversations, which will be immediately deleted from your conversation history and automatically deleted from our back-end within 30 days. Learn more here.
Note that we also retain data in our backend systems for the amount of time specified in our Privacy Policy unless required to enforce our Usage Policy, address Terms of Service or policy violations, or as required by law. Learn more about our retention periods by visiting our Privacy Center.
